Last Sunday was the 8th running of the Lost Dutchman Marathon and Half Marathon. I took this picture while running the half.

Snow Day

You can see snow covered mountains from Chandler and the east valley. This shot was taken from Val Vista Drive and the 202 in Mesa. It's Four Peaks Mountains just northeast of the Phoenix metro area.

On Arizona Avenue just south of the canal, you'll spot a dinosaur among other things at Hendel's A/C.

Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Reds

In Goodyear, AZ the ballpark is almost complete. They just erected this fine piece of public art outside and the field is almost ready for play. Come March, the Cleveland Indians will have spring training here. Next year, the Cincinnati Reds will join them.

Eatin' Sheep

The sheep got to eat and if you own sheep, but don't have a field of weeds, you might as well rent the sheep out. In Chandler you'll see the sheep moved from field to field.

The Marathon

CityDailyPhoto has a monthly theme day on the 1st. Today's theme is 'Paths and Passages'.
Photo taken by my wife, Amy. She was waiting for me at mile 10 of my latest half marathon. Over 20,000 runners made a path from downtown Phoenix to Tempe, Arizona. This is the parking lot of the spring training home of the Oakland A's baseball team. It's right after a water stop, so there's cups all over the ground.
