Arizona Theme Day: Sunsets
Today is the first day for the Arizona Theme Day. It's a collaboration among several Daily city blogs in Arizona. We take turns picking a subject and then take a picture in our respective cities. I hope you like my choice today and that you'll visit all the other Arizona blogs to see their interpretation of

The Marathon
CityDailyPhoto has a monthly theme day on the 1st. Today's theme is 'Paths and Passages'.
Photo taken by my wife, Amy. She was waiting for me at mile 10 of my latest half marathon. Over 20,000 runners made a path from downtown Phoenix to Tempe, Arizona. This is the parking lot of the spring training home of the Oakland A's baseball team. It's right after a water stop, so there's cups all over the ground.
